We stayed here for 4 nights in their 4 and 2 bedroom villa. The location is exceptional, with Varkala beach right infront of the property making it like a private beach. The service and generosity of the staff is exemplary. We had atleast 7 meals while residing there and I don’t think we have ever tasted such tasty yet not unhealthy food ever. Anything that came out of that kitchen tasted nice, a fact supported by 11 of us. Mr Suresh was there to look into all our needs, and was service personified. We would like to thank him for everything he did. We also met the owner of the property Mr Mani and his son Mr William, who also made our stay unforgettable by arranging for special items, out of their generosity. Anytime we visit Varkala, rest assured this is where we would be staying. ~ Sunil N

A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views and Outstanding Staff I recently stayed at this incredible resort, and I can’t recommend it enough! The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning panoramic views — whether it was sunrise over the ocean or a sunset behind the mountains, every angle was picture-perfect. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant team, everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to help. They went out of their way to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect, offering great local tips and always greeting us with a smile. I had a pleasant stay overall. The accommodation was good, and what really stood out was the staff – extremely courteous, service-oriented, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The pool was well-maintained, neat, and very enjoyable. The property is also wheelchair-friendly, which is a big plus for accessibility. However, the lunch was a bit of a letdown – it felt overpriced considering the quantity and variety provided. Another point to note is that the entrance is quite narrow, making it difficult for larger vehicles like buses or travellers to enter easily. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this stay to others for its excellent service, clean facilities, and overall comfort. ~ R_00_n_3_y

William the host was unbelievably good at communicating and responding to any questions even before we arrived including sharing details to book mopeds. He was very flexible in giving us a room early and letting us keep a room after check out. While we were there Suresh, the manager was available all the time to look after us. He organised a yoga class for us and rang up various places to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Suresh was brilliant and made us feel right at home and helped us out. Suresh and the lovely cooks created an incredible lunch for us which was the best lunch we had for the 3 weeks we had been in India. Would highly recommend, the rooms were clean and spacious. Stayed at Coconut Cove Beach Resort, Varkala and absolutely loved the experience. The biggest highlight is the location — right on a quiet, almost private beach, away from the crowds. The view of the sea is breathtaking, especially from the rooms and common areas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a calm and serene vibe. Falling asleep to the sound of waves was a bonus. The staff were warm, polite, and very helpful, making the stay comfortable throughout. Food was good, especially the seafood — fresh and tasty. Breakfast was decent, though a little more variety would make it even better. Dining with a sea view adds to the overall experience. Overall, this is a perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful beachside stay with beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. Wir waren hier zwei Tage mit einer Tour durch Kerala. Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen direkt am Strand an dem man wunderschön den Sonnenuntergang anschauen darf. My parents, sister & toddler travelled to Varkala & stayed at Coconut Cove. The property - for the views and location is excellent! Caretaker Sonia, chef Akhil & service boy Rahul were so hospital, kind & considerate. We encountered a few challenges since my toddler stayed at the property too but as soon as Sonia would hear about the minor most inconvenience, she would jump right in to ensure all is smooth! Definitely coming back again when we visit Varkala. Imagine a property with private beach access, ocean view from the room & backwaters in the backyard, open lawns to run around & play & so much greenery. It was a last minute plan and I decided to take my parents for a short vacation on the way back to my native.coconut cove was referred by my friend and the moment we entered the place, we felt like home. My parents enjoyed the stay and spent lot of time in the sea view point from the resort.onfact they didn't want to visit another place in Varkala.we spent two days time in the resort .Rajeev and Sonia hosted us in the resort and we enjoyed their hospitality. Food was amazing and they have prepared based on our needs.overall it's one of the best stay in the recent times. We love to visit again. My friends and I had an amazing stay at the coconut cave! The location was perfect, with direct and private access to a clean, quiet beach which was fantastic for morning walks and sunset views. Our deluxe room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a breathtaking view of the sea from the balcony, a definite highlight. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our entire visit, especially the team at the front desk who gave great local restaurant recommendations. We loved the large, clean swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options each day, though the veg food we tried one lunch was not quite as good as the non veg dishes. This is one of the best properties in Varkala. In fact the honeymoon suite of this property is undoubtedly the best room in Varkala and I can bet on this. Many properties provide good service but the staff of this property especially Sonia gives you a personal touch. They value emotions and that reflects in the way guests are served here. The chef from Meghalaya made our stay all the more delightful. Situated just above the edava beach this property provides 180 degree uninterrupted sea view. You can soak in the sea from the jacuzzi inside the room. Peaceful, serene, pristine and rejuvenating vibes have left us mesmerized. Loved the stay. I stayed her for a couple of days. Hands down best resort in Varkala. Amazing rooms, with huge spacious bathrooms and amenities. The wifi is super fast and I was able to have an amazing staycation. They are all sea facing rooms, and the beach is literally next door. In the mornings you can see local fishermen catch lobsters, crabs and all kinds of fish in this beach, its a totally fun experience. The staff are super friendly and accomodative with all requests. The food is also really delicious. There are a ton of coconut trees and I had the most delicious tender coconut water here till my hearts content. Its a great place for destination weddings too. ~ Marquiz M

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for 2 days, with absolutely stunning view, a spacious balcony. The room itself is big enough that felt luxurious with the jacuzzi, furniture, lamps and the bathroom. Waking up to sounds of beach waves felt heavenly. The pool seems to be maintained everyday morning, and is huge enough to relax in, with a beautiful view of the sea and sky. Huge props to Sonia - she has been very compassionate and catered to anything that we requested for. The only con I've seen is, post sun down, men tend to park their vehicles in the front which is a hinderance to privacy. Breakfast can be improved a bit for the price being charged. ~ Sandeep R

It was an amazing experience staying with coconut cove varkala. Entering to this place itself was a breath taking view as this stay is located on the cliff with and easy access to beach. Most important of all was the hygiene and every staff including the chef and a kind lady Noorjahan was spontaneously available to all our needs food was delicious, please try prawns ghee roast here and thats the most important in a stay I believe we travelled all over the places but kindness touches heart and remains with us making us to visit again and again. Every minute spent in this place was worth your money only regrets wish we stayed a bit longer. ~ Sneha M

The stay was really amazing and memorable. The interiors of the villa, the infinity pool, private beach, mini golf course, gazebo, hammock altogether made it a very fun experience for us. The villa was very clean and spacious. The view from the villa was breathtaking. The area outside the villa but inside the resort was very pretty and well maintained. The manager Baiju was very flexible, patient and made sure we all had a good time. He was very accommodating and listened to all our needs for which we are very grateful. We were a group of 9 people including kids and had a wonderful stay at Coconut Cove in Varkala! The facility was well-maintained, and the staff (Shaji Alfred, Greeshma, Chef Reji) were incredibly helpful and caring. They were very accommodating, and there was continuous follow-up to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was food or other services. The food was decent, although there were limited options for ordering from outside. Overall, we had a great time, and we would definitely love to visit again. Recently, my family and I, along with friends, had the pleasure of staying at the Coconut Cove Beach Resort in Varkala. We were welcomed by the staff with warm smiles and juice. They were very helpful with all our queries and needs. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a beautiful scenic view. We also enjoyed lounging in the infinity pool that overlooked the beach. The food that was provided was moderately good, and the private access to the beach was a huge bonus. Overall, the stay was relaxing and satisfactory as well as memorable. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious with each room having an extra cot and mattress. The rooms are beautiful designed and very well maintained. The view from the balcony is stunning, one that you cannot get tired of. The hospitality of the host, the manager and the staff on the property deserve their own 5-star rating. Right from welcoming us with a smile and welcome drink until handing over a box of chocolates as a parting gift, the hospitality was top notch. The property is also right on a small cliff on a secluded portion of the edava beach. You can just walk to the beach which in itself is nice and shallow. ~ Janardana P

We were a group of 8 friends and stayed for 2 nights. The stay was very peaceful. You have Edava beach, known for surfing, right outside the stay, and it's a 2-minute walk. The stay also offers a shared pool overlooking the beach. The sunset view calls for special mention. The food was great; they served both North and South Indian dishes. Wifi in Baywatch Villa was poor. It had a lower signal strength and disconnected multiple times during an office meeting. Hence, a star less in service. Most of the cafes and pubs are located at Varkala cliff, which is 2.5 km away from this stay. A to-and-fro auto ride may cost you up to 500 rupees at night. Cafes had primarily soft music; got to know that dance floors are an option only on weekends. Marlboro Advance that you get in Varkala is fake. So if you are very particular about it, bring yours. Overall, it was a great stay. Will definitely re-visit ~ Asha A

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Cove Resort. From the very beginning, Sonia was incredibly helpful — right from our initial booking to ensuring everything went smoothly throughout our stay. Her constant support, attention to detail, and seamless coordination truly made our experience stress-free and memorable. The location of the resort is excellent — it is very close to the beach with easy access. The beach is peaceful and less crowded, making it perfect for a calm dip or simply sitting back and relaxing. One of the most enjoyable parts of our stay was spending time by the pool, enjoying the food served right there, while taking in the incredible sea view. It was truly a relaxing and memorable experience. The hospitality was excellent, and a special mention to the seafood — it was absolutely delicious! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Coconut cove and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of service, comfort, and attention to detail. The hotel location was top-notch,with easy access to beach.. The breakfast , lunch and dinner has wide variety of delicious options, and the restaurant staff (special mention - Noorjahan) were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed In conclusion, our stay was beyond expectations, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Varkala ~ Reema G

This property offers breathtaking views that truly captivate the senses. With convenient access to a private beach, we enjoyed the sand and waves in a secluded setting. The rooms are exceptionally large and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. However, this property is far from the main market of Varkala and hence a personal or rented vehicle is highly recommended. The food is decent but don't expect a large spread or continental affair. In terms of amenities, there is a decent size swimming pool (which should be cleaned more often), some badminton racquets and a small golf pitch (the ball was missing though, we used a tt ball). Speaking of hospitality, Mr. Suresh, Ms. Haseena and the staff took utmost care of us (a group of 16 ppl) and also offered complimentary services to compensate for certain misses during our stay. This was really a nice gesture. If you want peace and a simple stay with access to beach, I recommend staying at this place. ~ Nitin K

I highly recommend their Dal Tadka; it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Staff: The entire team is humble, helpful, and genuinely kind. The owner, Dr. Mani, exemplifies down-to-earth hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcomed. Mr. Verma, the manager, is always available and ready to assist, while the rest of the staff maintain a similarly warm demeanor. Accommodations: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. As a father of an infant, I am particularly attentive to hygiene, and I can confidently rate the staff’s commitment to cleanliness and safety as five stars. ~ Sandeep S

Our stay at Bella View was truly unforgettable. The villa’s interiors were stunning, and the infinity pool along with the private beach made the experience even more enjoyable. Pros : We went in January 2023.. The place is very calm & beautiful.. One of the best staying experience with beach & pool access together.. the rooms are quite spacious with amazing beach view.. the best part is you get private access to one of the cleanest beaches!! The waves on beach are very safe, people of any age can get into it & enjoy the beach experience.. no outsiders so not at all crowded, rare experience to get such a clean beach to yourself.. You would love to come back.. The incharge there was quite humble & helpful.. Cons: Breakfast experience can get better, there was just one person who had to do everything from bringing food to serving it..that too every time she brings food, she had to climb stairs.. the location is a bit far from eating joints but one can visit cliff area for restaurants (advice-visit restaurants after checking reviews,the experience can be really disappointing) Overall - a must try experience with family, group of friends!! 👌👌 ~ Sneha C
